Dr. Alix Gay is board-certified in internal medicine with a sub-specialty in Geriatrics. He earned his medical degree from The University of St. George’s School of Medicine in 1981 and completed his residencies at Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in 1988 and University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1990. He has been serving in the community for over 40 years. Dr. Gay offers the highest level of personal and professional service. Dr. Gay’s patients say he is an “excellent and compassionate doctor”. He treats many health concerns ranging from diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, pulmonary, lipids to morbid obesity. His primary goal is to provide excellent care for his patients and their family, by focusing on preventative medicine through regular office visits. He is proud of his highly trained staff and is committed to meeting all of his patients' needs. His staff is well versed in French, Haitian-Creole, Spanish, German, and English. It is rare for his patients to experience any language barriers, due to the diversity of his staff.
